Message from Dean
2020 and 2021 marks an extraordinarily challenging year for everyone. And in a time where learning, working and living in isolation is part of the new norm, this year’s CDP Thesis Exhibition themed Visual Wonderland, provides a venue for us to connect to ideas and experiences of others in a stimulating and thought-provoking way. True to the concept of MUIC’s Communication Design Program, these projects, which are conceived and carried out by students, are meant to lend greater understanding of people, places and phenomenon through visual communication that is constructive, uplifting and accurate. In a world where misunderstanding and misinformation of spoken words has become the norm, this exhibition has shown us that perhaps more meaningful communication can be achieved if only we learn understand and comprehend one another through our eyes as well as our ears.
Congratulations to all the CDP seniors. This poignant exhibition could not have come at a better time.
